Estabished in 2004 as the Agricultural Producers' Co-operative Corporation and with over 50 plants operating all year round, Mizudori is the largest producer of fresh shiitake mushrooms in the north-east of Japan with annual production surpassing 500 tonnes, selling to supermarkets and restaurants throughout the region. Our shiitake mushrooms are thick and soft and the usual unpleasant smell has been removed so that people who don't normally eat mushrooms can enjoy this new variety. We produce both fresh shiitake mushrooms and shiitake mushroom chips using an environmentally-friendly process in a natural setting deep in the heart of rural Japan.
